West Shore Parks and Recreation Society

We were very excited to work with West Shore Parks and Recreation Society. The Society wanted an online platform that would increase user satisfaction. To meet this goal, we ensured the new website provided their various user groups with valuable information about their services and programming in a way that was logical and efficient. The new website had to be accessible to everyone and include tools such as a contact page and e-subscription services to best communicate with West Shore Parks and Recreation Society's users.

On this project, the main challenge was going to be meeting their specified launch date. To meet West Shore Parks and Recreation Society's goals and tight timeline, we proposed using one of our tried and tested template options. This would allow us to fast-track the project by using a website template that was previously used by other governments and organizations. Our template approach still allowed us to customize the site to match West Shore Parks and Recreation Society's branding elements and meet all of their desired features and functionality. Before and After:

The West Shore Parks and Recreation Society website was launched in August 2021 and has a fresh new look and feel. The templated website design allowed for a shortened project timeline, and also meant very few bug fixes. This solution was the best of both worlds: a template that is proven to meet the needs of both front and back-end users, with the ability to be customized to West Shore Parks and Recreation Society's specific needs and branding. The new website features a mobile-first menu, emergency alerts, events calendar, quick links, and much more to ensure users can find the information they are looking for quickly and efficiently.
