Evercloak was seeking to relaunch their brand in January 2021, and wanted a new brand identity and related visual assets. They contacted Upanup to create a new logo, with related branding collateral such a PPT template, letterhead, and a brand guide (view our news post that outlines the value of a brand guide). They also wanted guidance when it came to the usage of their brand and how to best present it to their clients and customers.
To create a refreshed brand for Evercloak that would capture the essence of the company, our team of designers and strategists required an in-depth understanding of Evercloak, including its story, vision and future product goals. We organized a discovery call with their project team to best understand how to reach their branding goals and incorporate their values and culture into the design. Our in-house team of designers then created multiple logo options with various colours, styles, and typography. Once an option was selected, the design was adjusted and finalized, and the new logo was used in various other collateral materials. As a companion piece, we also created a visual identity guide to clearly define the different pieces of the new branding and how they should be used.
We created a new and unique logo that was strategically designed to provide flexibility: the icon and wordmark can be used together or separately. Their new branding is used across their collateral materials to ensure a sense of visual cohesion and to promote a consistency that will help improve their brand recognition. Meanwhile, the visual identity guide will allow their team to continue to use their refreshed brand in a way that will resonate with their customers.
